The climate is tropical, with an average annual temperature of 28° C. The air is dry and there is no unpleasant sea-smell.

In the summer, from December through March, the weather is drier and temperatures range from 23 to 30° C. In the winter, from May through June, there are occasional rain showers. Winter temperatures range from 20 to 26° C.
